I've read plenty of reviews with scattered opinions on this game, but i'd say with the backing of alot of other people this was one of the best. My personal favorite, the game includes many features, such as creating a boxer, which allows pleny of details. The game includes legendary boxers such as Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Louis, and many, many others.Knockout Kings also displays amazing graphics, each boxer shines with real looking details from their face to their shoes. There are some minor cons to this game, though. The gamplay is a little slow, but if you have a vibration-compatible controllor, it balances it out. The vibration is spectacular, it feels like your really getting pounded on by whoever hit you. Another con-no one goes down for the ten count!! They fall, but the longest they'll stay down is for about 7 seconds. I usually win by TKO, and sometimes by points. The game does not take long to learn, but it takes a little bit to master. One last con, you can't bring a real boxer into the career mode. That kind of disappointed me, but its not a big thing. One fun thing I'd suggest you should do if you own the game, is fight at least one match with the player 1 camera view. You are now looking at the match through your boxer's eyes. The cuts and bruises are very realistic, and so are the knockdowns. I think this game wins by TKO over any other playstation sports game.
